According to the National Restaurant Association:

• 58% of restaurant sales are takeout, and online ordering is fueling this segment of the market.

• Half of all table service operators are reporting that takeout represents a larger proportion of their total sales compared to two years ago.

• 45% of 25-to-34-year-olds have used the Internet to find out information about a restaurant they have not patronized before.

• One out of three consumers have used curbside takeout at a table service restaurant.

There can be no doubt that a well-planned web presence is critical in today’s restaurant/food industry.
